Delete your Didact account

In the app

1. Sign in and open Security.
2. Choose Delete my account.
3. Enter your password (and your authenticator code, if you use one), then confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We will confirm it is you before we act.

What is deleted

• Your name, email address, phone number and password
• Your talent profile, portfolio and availability
• Your sign-in history and authenticator
• Your payout details and tax information, unless money has already been sent to you (see below)
• Your open proposals and any open projects you posted

What is kept

• Contracts, invoices and messages that other people on the platform rely on. They stay, without your name.
• Tax and payout records for money that was actually sent, for as long as the law requires us to keep them.
• The record that you accepted our Terms, without your device details.

When deletion is blocked

You cannot delete an account while a contract is active, a dispute is open, a payout has not been sent, or an invoice is unpaid. Finish or resolve those first, or contact support and we will help. If you own an organization that still has other members, remove them or hand it over first.
